BMW Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for BMW cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 71.39 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 1.02 crores. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 21 % from ₹ 86.75 lakhs to ₹ 1.05 crores. The average price has risen 8 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 1.03 crores) during February and March.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2019, the average price is ₹ 22.23 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (₹ 7.84 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 53.79 lakhs)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 174 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 73.33 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 85.82 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 94 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 1.01 crores). Next with a price of ₹ 24.18 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 9% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₹ 65.07 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 40 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 1.01 crores) followed by "Electric" priced at ₹ 67 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 5 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₹ 78.04 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for BMW cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 29 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 1.01 crores). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of ₹ 75.88 lakhs. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 14 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
