Hyundai Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Hyundai cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 14.24 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 17.56 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 15.9 lakhs to ₹ 16.98 lakhs. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 17.38 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Hyundai has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2019, the average price was ₹ 13.44 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (₹ 1.88 crores) and 2019 (₹ 5.34 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -98 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -60 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 17,782) and the the last two years (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 7,110.
The graph that displays the price for Hyundai cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 94 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 16.69 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 2.13 lakhs and a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 18% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₹ 11.98 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Hyundai cars points out to "LPG" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 100 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 16.69 lakhs) followed by "CNG" priced at ₹ 74,184. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 51 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₹ 6.56 lakhs.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Hyundai automobiles with the cheapest price have 5 doors. They are 68 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at ₹ 5.41 lakhs. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 21 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
