Maruti Suzuki Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Maruti Suzuki cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 9.32 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 11.08 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 10.2 lakhs to ₹ 11.27 lakhs. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 11.34 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Maruti Suzuki has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is ₹ 3.84 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₹ 53,000) moving up till (₹ 7.23 lakhs)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 87 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 8.02 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 8.87 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Maruti Suzuki cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 65 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 9.89 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 4.37 lakhs and a mileage range of "more than 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 9% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₹ 8.22 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Maruti Suzuki cars points out to "CNG" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 65 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 9.89 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 5.93 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 14 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₹ 6.73 lakhs.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Maruti Suzuki automobiles with the cheapest price have 4 doors. They are 51 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at ₹ 4.86 lakhs. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 47 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
