Toyota Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 26.04 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 45.49 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 23 % from ₹ 35.77 lakhs to ₹ 44.08 lakhs. The average price has had spectacular rise of 31 % with an average price of ₹ 39.92 lakhs during the previous 4 months and ₹ 52.23 lakhs during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Toyota has had a strong rise in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2020, the average price was ₹ 7.29 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (₹ 9.05 lakhs) and 2020 (₹ 2,070). During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 43 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 79 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 50.76 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of ₹ 91.07 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 86 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 52.53 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 10.59 lakhs and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 41% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₹ 18.07 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "CNG" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 97 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 52.53 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 1.92 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 84 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₹ 22.98 lakhs.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Toyota automobiles with the highest price have 4 doors. They are 10 % more costly than the average price for this model priced at ₹ 57.89 lakhs. Cars with the the highest price have 5 doors and are 49 % more expensive than the average mentioned before.
