TATA Indigo Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for TATA Indigo cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of ₹ 1.86 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 1.8 lakhs during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 1.85 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for TATA Indigo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 y 2011, the average price is ₹ 1.46 lakhs. There was a price inflation going from (₹ 1.32 lakhs) to (₹ 1.44 lakhs). During the next two years (2012, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 39 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 2.26 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2015, 2016) with a price of ₹ 2.49 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for TATA Indigo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 4 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 1.9 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 1.91 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 9% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of ₹ 1.93 lakhs.
"Diesel" priced at ₹ 1.59 lakhs is the most affordable fuel type when taking into account the average fuel price for TATA Indigo cars. It is is 16 % cheaper than the average selling price (!PRECIO2!). "Diesel" is the most affordable type of fuel and it is 16 % less expensive than the average value aforementioned.
