Audi Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Audi cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 44.88 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 62.59 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 20 % from ₹ 53.74 lakhs to ₹ 64.56 lakhs. The average price has risen 13 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 67.1 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Audi has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2009 and 2019, the average price is ₹ 19.88 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2009 (₹ 7.48 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 30.12 lakhs)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 240 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -26 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 53.68 lakhs) and the the last two years (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 39.72 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Audi cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 70.59 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 20.7 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 26% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₹ 38.61 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Audi cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 68 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 70.59 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 48.5 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 30 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs ₹ 48.5 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for Audi cars displays those with 4 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 32 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 70.59 lakhs). These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of ₹ 73.07 lakhs. Cars with the the highest price have 2 doors and are 11 % more expensive than the average mentioned before.
