Datsun Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Datsun cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is ₹ 2.62 lakhs increasing till ₹ 3 lakhs in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 2.81 lakhs to ₹ 3.05 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 2.93 lakhs to ₹ 3.02 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Datsun has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During 2014 and 2016, the average price was ₹ 2.53 lakhs. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. Cars belonging to the model aforementioned had a price deflation of -8 percent in the next two years (2017, 2018) compared to the previous two years. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -44 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 1.62 lakhs) and the the last two years (2019, 2020) with a price of ₹ 90,188.5.
The graph that displays the price for Datsun cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 52 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 2.7 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 1.97 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 5% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of ₹ 2.56 lakhs.
