Ford Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Ford cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 14.98 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 25.21 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 31 % from ₹ 20.09 lakhs to ₹ 26.38 lakhs. The average price has had spectacular rise of 32 % with an average price of ₹ 23.24 lakhs during the previous 4 months and ₹ 30.77 lakhs during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Ford has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2017, the average price is ₹ 3.91 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (₹ 1.28 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 11.02 lakhs)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 92 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -31 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 5.75 lakhs) and the the last two years (2020, 2021) with a price of ₹ 3.98 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Ford cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 95 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 29.32 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 6.78 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 54% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₹ 12.3 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 88 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 29.32 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 7.47 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 75 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₹ 3.43 lakhs.
