MGB Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for MGB cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was . November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 13.53 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 143 % from ₹ 6.76 lakhs to ₹ 16.41 lakhs. The average price has had spectacular rise of 22 % with an average price of ₹ 11.59 lakhs during the previous 4 months and ₹ 14.15 lakhs during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for MGB has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During 2019 and 2019, the average price was ₹ 6.18 lakhs. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -68 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 56 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 4.51 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 7.05 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for MGB cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 93 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 8.95 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 1.2 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 80% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of ₹ 2.37 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for MGB cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 100 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 8.95 lakhs) followed by "Electric" priced at ₹ 2,056. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 77 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Electric" with a price of ₹ 2,056.
