Renault Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Renault cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 6.92 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 9.02 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 7.97 lakhs to ₹ 8.44 lakhs. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 8.8 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Renault has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2011 to 2019, the average price was ₹ 4.12 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2011 (₹ 4.71 lakhs) and 2019 (₹ 2.53 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -95 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 53 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 45,344.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 69,585.5.
The graph that displays the price for Renault cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 70 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 8.42 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 2.76 lakhs and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 16% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 1,00,000" priced at ₹ 5.76 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Renault cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 86 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 8.42 lakhs) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₹ 3.31 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 61 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₹ 1.15 lakhs.
