Skoda Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Skoda cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 11.7 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 19.77 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 22 % from ₹ 15.74 lakhs to ₹ 19.15 lakhs. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 19.09 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Skoda has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2019, the average price is ₹ 5.06 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (₹ 3.58 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 8.26 lakhs)in 2019. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -100 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 99 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 3 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 5.99 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Skoda cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 86 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 15.7 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 5.71 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 36% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 1,00,000" priced at ₹ 7.62 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Skoda cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 94 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 15.7 lakhs) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₹ 1.7 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 89 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₹ 91,997.
