TATA Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for TATA cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 8.5 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 17.17 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 34 % from ₹ 12.83 lakhs to ₹ 17.24 lakhs. The average price has had spectacular rise of 16 % with an average price of ₹ 15.04 lakhs during the previous 4 months and ₹ 17.39 lakhs during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for TATA has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2019, the average price is ₹ 11.34 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (₹ 88,333) moving up till (₹ 2.79 lakhs)in 2019. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -98 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 34,438) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 40,547.
The graph that displays the price for TATA cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 15.05 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 3.48 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "more than 2,00,000". It is 999% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of ₹ 11.32 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for TATA cars points out to "CNG" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 100 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 15.05 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 53,416. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 90 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Electric" with a price of ₹ 57,968.
