BMW 5 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for BMW 5 Series cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price for March is ₹ 54.83 lakhs. During April there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₹ 50.05 lakhs. The following two months (May, June) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has had spectacular rise of 38 % with an average price of ₹ 51.02 lakhs during the previous 4 months and ₹ 70.18 lakhs during the most recent months in July and August.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is ₹ 79.32 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₹ 7.48 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 31.69 lakhs)in 2016. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -45 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 50.54 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of ₹ 57.18 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 5 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 62 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 67.07 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 30.13 lakhs and a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 33% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₹ 43.07 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 5 Series cars marks "Diesel" as the most costly fuel type. It is 7 % more expensive than the average market price (₹ 67.07 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 1.75 crores. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 161 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₹ 71.93 lakhs.
