Ford Ikon Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Ford Ikon cars have increased during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in September the average price was ₹ 47.27 lakhs. October went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 56.42 lakhs. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 51.85 lakhs to ₹ 56.91 lakhs. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -25 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 54.38 lakhs to ₹ 40.58 lakhs.
The average price for Ford Ikon has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2000 and 2007, the average price is ₹ 3.78 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2000 (₹ 64,750) moving up till (₹ 93,667)in 2007. During the next two years (2008, 2009) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 154 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
