Honda City Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Honda City cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in May the average price was ₹ 5.36 crores. June went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 6.88 crores. During the following two months (July, August) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 27 % from ₹ 6.12 crores to ₹ 7.76 crores. The average price has had spectacular rise of 19 % with an average price of ₹ 6.94 crores during the previous 4 months and ₹ 8.25 crores during the most recent months in September and October.
The average price for Honda City has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is ₹ 1.36 crores. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₹ 99,190) moving up till (₹ 3.08 crores)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 47 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -85 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 1.08 crores) and the the last two years (2019, 2020) with a price of ₹ 16.36 lakhs.

The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 17% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 1,00,000" priced at ₹ 6.59 crores.
