Honda Civic Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Honda Civic cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in March was of ₹ 3.77 crores. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 3.76 crores during April. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -64 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 2.56 crores to ₹ 2.68 crores during July and August.
The average price for Honda Civic has had a strong rise in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2006 to 2011, the average price was ₹ 40.98 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2006 (₹ 21.06 lakhs) and 2011 (₹ 4.13 lakhs). During the next two years (2012, 2013) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 31 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 59.95 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of ₹ 66.04 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Honda Civic cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 99 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 2.95 crores). Next with a price of ₹ 3.45 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 1,00,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "more than 2,00,000" priced at ₹ 55.77 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Honda Civic cars points out to "Hybrid" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 99 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 2.95 crores) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₹ 2.15 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 33 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₹ 2.15 lakhs.
