Hyundai EON Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Hyundai EON cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is ₹ 2.74 lakhs increasing till ₹ 3.03 lakhs in November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₹ 2.89 lakhs to ₹ 2.82 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 2.85 lakhs to ₹ 2.92 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Hyundai EON has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2011 and 2014, the average price is ₹ 2.23 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2011 (₹ 1.89 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 2.53 lakhs)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 23 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -10 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₹ 2.5 lakhs) and the the last two years analyzed (2017, 2018) with a price of ₹ 2.26 lakhs.
