Mahindra Jeep Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mahindra Jeep cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in December was of ₹ 4.73 crores. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 4.66 crores during January. The following two months (February, March) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -35 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 4.5 crores to ₹ 2.91 crores.
The average price for Mahindra Jeep has become more expensive in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2010, the average price was ₹ 1.14 crores. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (₹ 1.11 crores) and 2010 (₹ 81.77 lakhs). During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 49 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -20 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 1.42 crores) and the the last two years (2019, 2020) with a price of ₹ 1.14 crores.
The graph that displays the price for Mahindra Jeep cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 66 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 2.67 crores). Next with a price of ₹ 97.12 lakhs and a mileage range of "more than 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 28% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₹ 1.92 crores.
