Maruti Zen Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Maruti Zen cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in March was of ₹ 1.5 crores. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 1.44 crores during April. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₹ 1.47 crores to ₹ 1.52 crores. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 1.5 crores to ₹ 1.47 crores during July and August.
The average price for Maruti Zen has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" y 2008, the average price is ₹ 1.3 crores. There was a price inflation going from (₹ 1.19 crores) to (₹ 1.33 crores). During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 29 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 1.9 crores) and the the last two years that were studied (2011, 2012) with a price of ₹ 2.12 crores.
The graph that displays the price for Maruti Zen cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 26 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 1.48 crores). Next with a price of ₹ 1.25 crores and a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 91% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of ₹ 1.64 crores.
