Maruti Zen Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Maruti Zen cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in March was of ₹ 1.98 crores. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 1.99 crores during April. The following two months (May, June) the selling price went through a devaluation of -12 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₹ 1.87 crores to ₹ 1.75 crores during July and August.
The average price for Maruti Zen has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2010, the average price is ₹ 14.91 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₹ 77,769) moving up till (₹ 38.53 lakhs)in 2010. During the next two years (2011, 2012) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 344 %. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of ₹ 65.15 lakhs in 2013 and ₹ 64.04 lakhs during 2016.

It´s price is 99 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of ₹ 1 lakhs.
