Maruti Suzuki Alto Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Maruti Suzuki Alto cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for July is ₹ 2.36 lakhs. During August there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₹ 2.24 lakhs. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₹ 2.3 lakhs to ₹ 2.27 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 2.29 lakhs to ₹ 2.21 lakhs during November and December.
The average price for Maruti Suzuki Alto has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2004 and 2013, the average price is ₹ 1.52 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2004 (₹ 1.13 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 2.16 lakhs)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 75 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 3.02 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of ₹ 3.37 lakhs.

They are 47 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 2.17 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 1.47 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 2% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of ₹ 1.63 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Maruti Suzuki Alto cars marks "Petrol" as the most costly fuel type. It is 3 % more expensive than the average market price (₹ 2.17 lakhs) followed by "CNG" priced at ₹ 2.43 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "CNG". It´s price is 12 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs ₹ 2.23 lakhs.
