Mercedes Benz C-Class Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Mercedes Benz C-Class cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 21.48 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 39.02 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 30 % from ₹ 30.25 lakhs to ₹ 39.43 lakhs. The average price has risen 8 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 37.56 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Mercedes Benz C-Class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2017, the average price is ₹ 15.42 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 (₹ 6.56 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 29.89 lakhs)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 143 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 5 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 39.49 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2020, 2021) with a price of ₹ 41.48 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Mercedes Benz C-Class cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 62 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 29.43 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 12.41 lakhs and a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 23% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of ₹ 28.55 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mercedes Benz C-Class cars marks "Petrol" as the most costly fuel type. It is 13 % more expensive than the average market price (₹ 29.43 lakhs) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₹ 35.59 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 21 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs ₹ 33.3 lakhs.
