Mercedes Benz E-Class Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Mercedes Benz E-Class cars have increased during the last 6 months. In March the price for a car is ₹ 23.64 lakhs increasing till ₹ 25.39 lakhs in April. The following two months (May, June) the selling price went through a devaluation of -12 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has had spectacular rise of 24 % with an average price of ₹ 23.03 lakhs during the previous 4 months and ₹ 28.45 lakhs during the most recent months in July and August.
The average price for Mercedes Benz E-Class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2014, the average price is ₹ 12.63 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (₹ 5.8 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 20.74 lakhs)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 119 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 26 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 37.23 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2017, 2018) with a price of ₹ 46.83 lakhs.
