Mini Cooper Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Mini Cooper cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 20.91 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 24.37 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 22.64 lakhs to ₹ 24.49 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 23.57 lakhs to ₹ 23.91 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Mini Cooper has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed (2013 - 2015), the average selling price stood at ₹ 18.31 lakhs. During this time, the price for 2013 which was ₹ 18.38 lakhs decreased to ₹ 17.28 lakhs during 2015. During the next two years (2017, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 79 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -100 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 16.42 lakhs) and the the last two years (2020, 2022) with a price of ₹ 4,750.5.
The graph that displays the price for Mini Cooper cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 23 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 18.68 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 17.27 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 19% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of ₹ 21.48 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mini Cooper cars points out to "Electric" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 100 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 18.68 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 4.4 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 76 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Electric" with a price of ₹ 4,685.
