Skoda Octavia Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Skoda Octavia cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of ₹ 11.24 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 11.22 lakhs during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -16 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has risen 11 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 11.4 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Skoda Octavia has remained constant in recent years. During 2013 and 2014, the average price was ₹ 7.89 lakhs. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 26 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -27 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 7.87 lakhs) and the the last two years (2017, 2018) with a price of ₹ 5.75 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Skoda Octavia cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 81 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 8.56 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 7.36 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 77% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of ₹ 12.25 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Skoda Octavia cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 90 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 8.56 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 2.01 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 76 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₹ 87,446.
