TATA Indica Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for TATA Indica cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of ₹ 1.68 lakhs. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 1.66 lakhs during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -22 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has risen 13 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 1.68 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for TATA Indica has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2009 and 2012, the average price is ₹ 23.73 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2009 (₹ 1.24 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 1.69 lakhs)in 2012. During the next two years (2013, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 101 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -94 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 24.59 lakhs) and the the last two years (2015, 2016) with a price of ₹ 1.56 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for TATA Indica cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 4 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 1.71 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 1.66 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "1,00,000 - 2,00,000". It is 15% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of ₹ 1.66 lakhs.
