TATA Safari Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for TATA Safari cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for December is ₹ 3.67 crores. During January there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₹ 3.38 crores. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -29 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -27 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 3.01 crores to ₹ 2.21 crores.
The average price for TATA Safari has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2014, the average price is ₹ 97.45 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (₹ 51.52 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 2.3 crores)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 195 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -27 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 2.26 crores) and the the last two years (2017, 2020) with a price of ₹ 1.64 crores.
The graph that displays the price for TATA Safari cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 97 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 2.44 crores). Next with a price of ₹ 74.1 lakhs and a mileage range of "more than 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 20% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 1,00,000" priced at ₹ 1.04 crores.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for TATA Safari cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 99 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 2.44 crores) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₹ 1.49 crores. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 39 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₹ 2.29 lakhs.
