Toyota Fortuner Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota Fortuner cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 20.87 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 30.94 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 18 % from ₹ 25.9 lakhs to ₹ 30.51 lakhs. The average price has risen 10 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 31.12 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Toyota Fortuner has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2009 and 2018, the average price is ₹ 13.8 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2009 (₹ 10.37 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 16.3 lakhs)in 2018. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -21 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 11.99 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 13.08 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Fortuner cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 65 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 24.89 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 9.32 lakhs and a mileage range of "more than 2,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 10% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₹ 19.58 lakhs.
