Volkswagen Jetta Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Volkswagen Jetta cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in January the average price was ₹ 9.62 lakhs. February went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 3.29 crores. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 137 % from ₹ 1.7 crores to ₹ 4.02 crores. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -91 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 2.86 crores to ₹ 24.81 lakhs.
The average price for Volkswagen Jetta has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2008 to 2013, the average price was ₹ 13.43 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2008 (₹ 26.1 lakhs) and 2013 (₹ 6.95 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -29 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 10.63 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2016, 2017) with a price of ₹ 11.78 lakhs.

They are 86 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 36.07 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 7.08 lakhs and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 1,00,000". It is 43% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₹ 8.18 lakhs.

It´s price is 125 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₹ 10.28 lakhs.
