Volkswagen Jetta Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Volkswagen Jetta cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In September the price for a car is ₹ 1.33 crores increasing till ₹ 1.47 crores in October. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -33 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -17 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 1.17 crores to ₹ 96.47 lakhs.
The average price for Volkswagen Jetta has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2012, the average price is ₹ 9.99 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 (₹ 3.31 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 6.46 lakhs)in 2012. During the next two years (2013, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 720 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -75 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 46.91 lakhs) and the the last two years (2015, 2016) with a price of ₹ 11.9 lakhs.

They are 89 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 73.16 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 11.79 lakhs and a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 52% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" and a price of ₹ 94.13 lakhs.
