Maruti Suzuki Alto Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Maruti Suzuki Alto cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 2.38 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 3.41 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 2.89 lakhs to ₹ 3.22 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 3.06 lakhs to ₹ 3 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Maruti Suzuki Alto has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2004 and 2014, the average price is ₹ 1.62 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2004 (₹ 1.09 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 2.49 lakhs)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 70 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 3.03 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of ₹ 3.33 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Maruti Suzuki Alto cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 38 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 2.45 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 1.67 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₹ 1.67 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Maruti Suzuki Alto cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 8 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 2.45 lakhs) followed by "CNG" priced at ₹ 2.52 lakhs. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "CNG". It´s price is 3 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs ₹ 2.24 lakhs.
