Renault Duster Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Renault Duster cars have increased during the last 6 months. In September the price for a car is ₹ 6.59 lakhs increasing till ₹ 7.04 lakhs in October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 19 % from ₹ 6.82 lakhs to ₹ 8.13 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 7.48 lakhs to ₹ 7.28 lakhs during January and February.
The average price for Renault Duster has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2012 to 2017, the average price was ₹ 4.12 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2012 (₹ 4.39 lakhs) and 2017 (₹ 2.72 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -17 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 3.71 lakhs) and the the last two years that were studied (2020, 2021) with a price of ₹ 3.99 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Renault Duster cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 71 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 6.75 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 4.87 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 14% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 1,00,000" priced at ₹ 5.66 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Renault Duster cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 50 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 6.75 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 3.42 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 49 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₹ 3.4 lakhs.
