Renault Duster Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Renault Duster cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 6.21 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 7.97 lakhs. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₹ 7.09 lakhs to ₹ 7.2 lakhs. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₹ 7.56 lakhs) during February and March.
The average price for Renault Duster has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed (2012 - 2016), the average selling price stood at ₹ 4.64 lakhs. During this time, the price for 2012 which was ₹ 4.44 lakhs decreased to ₹ 3.95 lakhs during 2016. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -17 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -10 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₹ 3.52 lakhs) and the the last two years analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of ₹ 3.17 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for Renault Duster cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "1,00,000 - 2,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 61 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 6.79 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 5.01 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 10% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₹ 5.7 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Renault Duster cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 83 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 6.79 lakhs) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₹ 2.43 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 64 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₹ 1.18 lakhs.
