Renault Kwid Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Renault Kwid cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 3.32 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 4.6 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 3.96 lakhs to ₹ 4.24 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 4.1 lakhs to ₹ 4.21 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Renault Kwid has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2015 to 2019, the average price was ₹ 2.59 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2015 (₹ 2.87 lakhs) and 2019 (₹ 1.36 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -85 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 33 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 59,292) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 78,580.5.
