BMW 3 Series Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 3 Series cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In October the average price per vehicle is ₹ 2.27 crores. During November the price went trough a strong deflation till ₹ 1.15 crores. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -52 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -38 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 1.27 crores to ₹ 78.62 lakhs.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2006 to 2016, the average price was ₹ 45.12 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2006 (₹ 2.88 crores) and 2016 (₹ 26.2 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -31 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 19 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 38.31 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of ₹ 45.41 lakhs.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 1,00,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 76 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 82.18 lakhs). Next with a price of ₹ 21.49 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "1,00,000 - 2,00,000". It is 12% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₹ 31.04 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 3 Series cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 50 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 82.18 lakhs) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₹ 53.08 lakhs. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 35 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₹ 40.87 lakhs.
