Mahindra Scorpio Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Mahindra Scorpio cars have increased during the last 6 months. In July the price for a car is ₹ 6.92 crores increasing till ₹ 7.62 crores in August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₹ 7.27 crores to ₹ 8.01 crores. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -16 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 7.64 crores to ₹ 6.42 crores.
The average price for Mahindra Scorpio has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2002 and 2015, the average price is ₹ 45.26 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2002 (₹ 2.27 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 1.09 crores)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 147 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 95.3 lakhs) and the the last two years (2018, 2019) with a price of ₹ 78.93 lakhs.
