Mahindra XUV 500 Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mahindra XUV 500 cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is ₹ 8.7 crores. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₹ 8.2 crores. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -12 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₹ 8.07 crores to ₹ 7.11 crores during February and March.
The average price for Mahindra XUV 500 has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2011 to 2016, the average price was ₹ 95.12 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2011 (₹ 1.15 crores) and 2016 (₹ 17.99 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -85 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 60 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 34.99 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of ₹ 56.14 lakhs.
