Mahindra XUV 500 Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Mahindra XUV 500 cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in January the average price was ₹ 16.4 lakhs. February went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 8.93 crores. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 100 % from ₹ 4.54 crores to ₹ 9.07 crores. The average price has had spectacular rise of 30 % with an average price of ₹ 6.81 crores during the previous 4 months and ₹ 8.86 crores during the most recent months in May and June.
The average price for Mahindra XUV 500 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2011 and 2015, the average price is ₹ 4.22 crores. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2011 (₹ 1.16 crores) moving up till (₹ 3.36 crores)in 2015. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -92 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -36 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 23.49 lakhs) and the the last two years (2018, 2019) with a price of ₹ 15.12 lakhs.
