The selling price for Mercedes Benz E Class cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. During the first month analyzed in April the average price was ₹ 7.03 lakhs. May went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 15.82 lakhs. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -80 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -99 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 6.84 lakhs to ₹ 3,750.
The average price for Mercedes Benz E Class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2010 and 2019, the average price is ₹ 1.2 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2010 (₹ 813) moving up till (₹ 4,111)in 2019. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -96 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 5,959.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 6,783.5.
