Volkswagen Vento Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Volkswagen Vento cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 5.98 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 7.36 lakhs. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₹ 6.67 lakhs to ₹ 6.98 lakhs. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₹ 6.82 lakhs to ₹ 7.02 lakhs during February and March.
The average price for Volkswagen Vento has had a strong rise in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2010 to 2017, the average price was ₹ 3.84 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2010 (₹ 2.94 lakhs) and 2017 (₹ 1.83 lakhs). Cars belonging to the model aforementioned had a price deflation of -10 percent in the next two years (2018, 2019) compared to the previous two years. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 25 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 4.64 lakhs) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2020, 2021) with a price of ₹ 5.81 lakhs.
