Volkswagen Passat Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Volkswagen Passat cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In April the average price per vehicle is ₹ 1.93 crores. During May the price went trough a strong deflation till ₹ 8.76 lakhs. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -90 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -45 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 55.38 lakhs to ₹ 30.36 lakhs.
The average price for Volkswagen Passat has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2008 to 2009, the average price was ₹ 58.78 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2008 (₹ 1.12 crores) and 2009 (₹ 5.23 lakhs). During the next two years (2010, 2011) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 64 %. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of ₹ 94.82 lakhs in 2012 and ₹ 93.07 lakhs during 2013.
