TATA Sumo Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for TATA Sumo cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in March was of ₹ 2.78 crores. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₹ 2.81 crores during April. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -88 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two, the price has gone through a -14 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₹ 1.56 crores to ₹ 1.35 crores during July and August.
The average price for TATA Sumo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2013, the average price is ₹ 21.68 lakhs. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₹ 1.5 lakhs) moving up till (₹ 28.15 lakhs)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 141 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 52 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₹ 1.08 crores) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2016, 2017) with a price of ₹ 1.64 crores.
The graph that displays the price for TATA Sumo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 97 % more affordable than the average price (₹ 1.82 crores). Next with a price of ₹ 23.63 lakhs and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 25% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 1,00,000" priced at ₹ 55.74 lakhs.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for TATA Sumo cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 99 % less expensive than the average market price (₹ 1.82 crores) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₹ 1.29 crores. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 29 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₹ 1.75 lakhs.
