TATA Tiago Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for TATA Tiago cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₹ 4.03 lakhs. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₹ 5.02 lakhs. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 25 % from ₹ 4.53 lakhs to ₹ 5.66 lakhs. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -19 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₹ 5.09 lakhs to ₹ 4.11 lakhs.
The average price for TATA Tiago has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2016 to 2019, the average price was ₹ 1.85 lakhs. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2016 (₹ 3.02 lakhs) and 2019 (₹ 1.06 lakhs). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -51 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -81 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₹ 49,690.5) and the the last two years (2022, 2023) with a price of ₹ 9,199.
